Children's Activities
We make children very welcome at Sheringham Baptist Church, and we are committed to helping the children to learn from God's Word, and to discover how much He loves them. The activities which take place on Sunday mornings may include singing, worship with flags, craft, quizzes, etc, with separate bible teaching for under 5's (Sparklers), school years R to 4, and years 5 and 6, (Both known as Launchpad).

The children usually participate in the all-age family services which take place every month or two. There is also a crèche for those aged up to about two and a half (Precious Gems). We run special activities at Christmas, when the Children present an aspect of the Christmas story to the rest of the church and friends.

There is usually an opportunity each autumn for all those aged 8 or over to attend a residential weekend, which runs from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, often at a venue in Norfolk.

On Friday afternoons there is the "POP" club at 4pm for all those in school years R to 2 followed from 5pm to 6pm by the "BLAST" club for those in school years 3 to 6. Both groups take place at the church. For more information, see "POP" and "BLAST" near the bottom of the Activities page.
