The Art Group
The Art Group meets at Sheringham Baptist Church Hall every Thursday evening from 7.30pm until 9pm. The Group includes beginners as well as more experienced artists, and their objectives are : to enjoy painting on an informal basis, to help beginners, to improve their artistic skills, to watch demonstrations by invited artists, to appreciate the beauty of God’s creation, and to generally encourage each other. The evenings include free refreshments, and everyone is warmly welcomed.

Every Thursday evening in August, at 7.30pm, the meetings will take the form of an art demonstration. So often people buy, or even just admire, a picture and wonder how it has been created. Two local artists will demonstrate how they paint local scenes, and the evenings are open to holidaymakers and locals, young and old. Refreshments will be served, and admission is free, although there will be a collection in aid of Sheringham Children’s Trust.
